While some generators featuring two bars above the fuel tank may have limited space to accommodate the vent, this is not a concern for the majority of other generators.

Our tanks are well-packed, providing additional protection on all four corners. Measuring a total length of 21-5/8 inches, a total width of 14-7/32 inches, and a tank height of 4-3/4 inches (5-1/2 inches with the cap), the center-to-center dimensions are 19-7/8 inches in length and 13-3/16 inches in width.
